We are seeking an Intermediate Procurement Buyer Consultant with 2 to 5 years of professional experience to join our team onsite in New York, NY. In this role, you will support end-to-end sourcing operations, contract administration, and procure-to-pay processes. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within diverse, cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Support the execution of strategic sourcing initiatives, RFP market strategies, and contract writing.
Assist in supplier negotiations and day-to-day contract administration.
Navigate and utilize ERP Purchasing applications and other procurement-related software.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, processes, and risk management guidelines.
Collaborate within diverse, cross-functional teams with limited guidance to meet strict project deadlines.
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation utilizing standard office software applications.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Contract Management, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant full-time sourcing and contract administration experience.
Core Competencies:
Familiarity with the procure-to-pay lifecycle and procurement policies.
Proficiency in ERP Purchasing applications, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
Strong interpersonal, organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, exercise solid judgment, learn quickly, and adapt to changing circumstances.
